Collection: Skin Care Routine

A skin care routine is very important if you want to properly protect your facial skin, manage skin problems, and maintain beautiful and healthy skin for longer. A proper facial care routine is not as complicated as it may seem. You don't need as many cosmetic products as you might think. At a minimum, a facial routine can consist of just four products – facial cleanser, facial moisturizer, facial scrub, and sunscreen. If you want more intensive skin care, these products can also help – facial toner and several different facial serums .

A daily facial skin care routine is very important

Daily skin care is a key factor in maintaining good skin condition. However, it's not just the products that matter, but also how you treat your skin. What are some things to avoid when it comes to a proper skin care routine? Follow these rules: Cosmetic products should not contain ingredients that irritate the skin – alcohol, strong surfactants, fragrances. These substances disrupt the activity of the sebaceous glands and disrupt the production of sebum in the skin, which can make the skin both more oily and dry. Soap should also be avoided, as its ingredients have the property of clogging the pores of the skin and drying out the skin. In your skincare routine, avoid disinfectants, which are also skin irritants, but for some reason, manufacturers often only value their positive properties and ignore the negative ones. These include alcohol, anise, camphor, cinnamon, chlorhexidine (used in antiseptics), lard, horsetail, eucalyptus, fennel, witch hazel, juniper, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, mint, menthol, myrtle, patchouli, peppermint, sage, thyme, and ylang-ylang. Say “no” to scrubs with grains Do not use scrubs with grains on your face, they damage the skin's protective barrier, disrupt the moisture balance, and can spread bacteria all over your face if you suffer from acne or have inflammatory reactions in your clogged pores. Also, do not use sharp sponges to care for your face. Facial care , like your facial skin routine, should be very gentle. Wash with warm, lukewarm water, avoid contrasting temperatures - this is stress for our skin. Avoid temperature differences, heaters, air conditioning. This unbalances the skin's moisture balance, weakens its protective functions. Never try to clean and squeeze pimples and clogged pores yourself. The effect will be the opposite – even longer healing of the damaged area, deeper skin inflammation and even scarring if you severely damage the skin.
